If there’s one thing that Marvel fans love to do (and what Marvel Studios lets them do), it’s always connecting the dots. With the Phase 4 of the MCU almost coming to an end, Kevin Feige of Marvel Studios said that we’ll hear more about Marvel’s next big saga in the coming months.
Three years ago, none of us would have had an idea on how the Marvel Cinematic Universe is going to continue after Avengers: Endgame. With everything that has happened with the original Avengers, it was hard for some fans to recover from those events.
ME WATCHING ANY MARVEL MOVIE AFTER ENDGAME:
Wait, so society is expected to just carry on as if this insane collective trauma never happened? That’s ridiculous.ME IN 2022:

With the conclusion of the Infinity Saga – the 23 films starting with Iron Man (2008) to Avengers: Endgame and Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019) – comes with the opening of the Multiverse.
Over the past two years, we’ve had MCU movies and series unleashing the expansion of the universes such as Disney+’s Loki, the award-winning and 3rd highest-grossing Marvel film Spider-Man: No Way Home, and the recently released Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
As these films and series opened up various possibilities for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, one would think: what is next?
While avid Marvel fans might already have an idea on what’s coming, Kevin Feige – the president of Marvel Studios – teased the upcoming Phase 5 of the MCU which is the rumored Secret Wars saga.
In an exclusive interview with Total Film, Feige has said that some answers are coming sooner. “As we’re nearing the end of Phase 4, I think people will start to see where this next saga is going,”
“I think there have been many clues already, that are at least apparent to me, of where this whole saga is going. But we’ll be a little more direct about that in the coming months, to set a plan, so audiences who want to see the bigger picture can see a tiny, tiny, tiny bit more of the roadmap” Feige added.
The Secret Wars is actually a 2015 comic book which has a storyline that involves the destruction of the Marvel universe and various other alternate universes. The other crossover event could also be where Marvel’s heroes and villains are transported to a planted called Battleworld, where they have to clash.
Marvel has already planted the seeds that could lead to the Secret Wars with projects like What If… ?, Loki, Spider-Man: No Way Home, and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
Because of these, Marvel fans have already called it out – Secret Wars is coming soon.
calling it now, secret wars is where the MCU is heading – multiverse, legacy and new era of heroes, introduction and clarification on universe-wide power (Celestials and ones above) – just makes perfect sense and ups the stakes massively https://t.co/21G47WDPJe
