Find Your Inner Joy in the Bloom in Your Heart Exhibition at Saratta Space

Bloom In Your Heart
Spread the love

It’s common to hear from children how they want to grow up immediately—to gain freedom, independence and power to make decisions for themselves. But as adults living that life, we sometimes long for days of fun and simplicity that we often had as kids. Adulting can be tiring, and sometimes you may feel like you have the weight of the world on your shoulders, or that you need a break from your responsibilities.

The grass always seems greener on the other side, which is why this July, Saratta Space in Bangkok, Thailand asks people to reflect on their childhood and let those past memories and emotions bloom inside them. The innovative art space is holding the “Bloom in Your Heart” exhibition, which aims to take visitors back to their childhood and reconnect with their inner child.

The public display features 50 artworks by five Thai artists—Hongki Dongki, I Draw a House for My Friends, Matus Kaewdum, MEDMEDMEDSS, and Rerunn—asking viewers to explore their blooming moments and emotions from nostalgia to laughter, excitement, sadness, and comfort—as if they’re on a journey back to childhood aided by these inspiring works of art.

The exhibition also allows visitors to get to know the artists’ inner feelings and their different interpretations of the concept “Bloom in Your Heart.” Some works featured include “Bittersweet Blooming” by Hongki Dongki which presents inner joy through imaginary objects and friends that represent stories that fill the heart with emotion; “Home in Bloom” by I Draw a House for My Friends evokes childlike wonder and nostalgia through a depiction of a house, tree, and playground in cartoonish proportions; “Heroic Blooming” by Matus Kaewdum uses collage techniques and derives inspiration from mythology and literature to evoke the changing of the seasons as seen through the eyes of a child; “Blooming Sea” by MEDMEDMEDSS conveys the underwater world through different colors and shapes; and “Bloom in the Blue” by Rerunn focuses on overwhelming blue feelings and childhood memories waiting to bloom.

The “Bloom in Your Heart” exhibition is free to view from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM until July 31 at Saratta Space, Reno Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand. Don’t miss the chance to reconnect with your childhood emotions and memories.
