Passing the torch from one Quezon to another! TJ Trinidad visits the Quezon set, TBA Studio’s latest project. Trinidad was teased as the actor to portray late President Manuel L. Quezon in the end credits of Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral. However, he has not reprised his role due to scheduling conflicts—instead, the actor showed his support by stopping by and seeing the cast and crew.

Quezon is an upcoming historical biopic based on the first Commonwealth president of the Philippines. It’s also the third instalment of TBA Studios’ cinematic “Bayaniverse”—a series of films based on Philippine history—succeeding Heneral Luna and Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral.
Filming started in March 2025, with Jericho Rosales portraying Manuel L. Quezon, alongside Iain Glen, who is playing Governor-General Leonard Wood, a prominent figure during Quezon’s presidency.

Trinidad also showed his support prior to his visit through a message expressing his support for the actors playing Quezon, saying, “Thank you TBA, and good luck to the cast and crew. Can’t wait to see this on the big screen!”
