Alden Richards was a man on a mission. “Ethan meets Ethan… I have no words!” wrote Alden Richards on Instagram, where he posted a video of his first meeting with Tom Cruise.

The newly crowned Philippine Box Office King recently flew to Seoul, South Korea, to join the premiere of Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, where he met Cruise on the red carpet. Ethan Del Rosario is the name of Richards’ character in the box-office breaking Hello, Love, Goodbye and Hello, Love, Again movies, and is a name he shares with Cruise’s character from the Mission: Impossible franchise, Ethan Hunt.

At the film’s premiere, Richards and other guests watched Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning with Cruise and the rest of the cast in attendance, including Hayley Atwell, Simon Pegg, Pom Klementieff, Greg Tarzan Davis, as well as director Christopher McQuarrie.
