T-Bird at Ako

This 1982 classic tells the story of lawyer Sylvia (the late National Artist Nora Aunor), who tries to keep things professional between her and her client, Sabel (Vilma Santos), a dancer who accidentally kills a man out of self-defense after he attempted to rape her. The cast includes Nora Aunor, Vilma Santos, Dindo Fernando, Tommy Abuel, Suzanne Gonzales, Odette Khan, and is directed by Danny L. Zialcita. Mga Anak ni Facifica Falayfay

In this 1987 sequel to the late Dolphy’s classic “Facifica Falayfay,” the death of Facifica’s (now Pacifico, played by Dolphy), wife deeply affects one of his sons, Rodrigo (Roderick Paulate). As Rodrigo tries to discover and get to know his true self, he tries to seek acceptance from his father. The cast includesDolphy, Roderick Paulate, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Lotlot de Leon, Eric Quizon, Rolly Quizon, with Romy Villaflor at the helm. How to Train Your Dragon

On the rugged isle of Berk, where Vikings and dragons have been bitter enemies for generations, Hiccup (Mason Thames; “The Black Phone,” “For All Mankind”) stands apart. The inventive yet overlooked son of Chief Stoick the Vast (Gerard Butler, reprising his voice role from the animated franchise), Hiccup defies centuries of tradition when he befriends Toothless, a feared Night Fury dragon. Their unlikely bond reveals the true nature of dragons, challenging the very foundations of Viking society.

Gerard Butler reprises his role as Stoic alongside new faces like Mason Thames,  Nico Parker, Nick Frost, Julian Dennison, Gabriel Howell, Bronwyn James, Harry Trevaldwyn, Ruth Codd, Peter Serafinowicz, and Murray McArthur. The film is directed by Dean DeBlois, the director of the animated franchise as well. Catch How to Train Your Dragon in cinemas this June 11.

28 Years Later

Academy Award®-winning director Danny Boyle and Academy Award®-nominated writer Alex Garland reunite for “28 Years Later,” a terrifying new story set in the world created by “28 Days Later.” It’s been almost three decades since the rage virus escaped a biological weapons laboratory, and now, still in a ruthlessly enforced quarantine, some have found ways to exist amidst the infected. One such group of survivors lives on a small island connected to the mainland by a single, heavily defended causeway. When one of the group leaves the island on a mission into the dark heart of the mainland, he discovers secrets, wonders, and horrors that have mutated not only the infected but other survivors as well.

The cast includes Jodie Comer, Aaron-Taylor Johnson, Jack O’Connell, Alfie Williams, and Ralph Fiennes, with the guidance of Danny Boyle and Alex Garland as directors. Catch this highly anticipated 28 Years Later in cinemas this June 18!

M3GAN 2.0

The murderous doll who captivated pop culture in 2023 is back. And this time she’s not alone. After being “rellocated” to a new body, the program used to create M3GAN has been duplicated. The newest Android is now unleashing havoc on the world. Will M3GAN be able to stop her and protect Cady?

Gerard Johnstone is directing with some of the cast members Violet McGraw and Allison Williams reprising their roles as Cady and Gemma respectively alongside Ivanna Sakhno, Amie Donald, Brian Jordan Alvarez, Jen Van Epps, Aristotle Athari, Timm Sharp, and Jemaine Clement. Catch M3GAN 2.0 in cinemas this June 25.

F1 The Movie

Dubbed “the greatest that never was,” Sonny Hayes (Brad Pitt) was FORMULA 1’s most promising phenom of the 1990s until an accident on the track nearly ended his career.  Thirty years later, he’s a nomadic racer-for-hire when he’s approached by his former teammate Ruben Cervantes (Javier Bardem), owner of a struggling FORMULA 1 team that is on the verge of collapse.  Ruben convinces Sonny to come back to FORMULA 1 for one last shot at saving the team and being the best in the world. He’ll drive alongside Joshua Pearce (Damson Idris), the team’s hotshot rookie intent on setting his own pace. But as the engines roar, Sonny’s past catches up with him and he finds that in FORMULA 1, your teammate is your fiercest competition – and the road to redemption is not something you can travel alone.

Brad Pitt leads the cast with Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, Kim Bodnia, and Javier Bardem, while Joseph Kosinski directs this sports drama. Catch F1 The Movie in cinemas this June 25!
