Adventure, emotion, and fantasy await in A Big Bold Beautiful Journey, a film directed by Konogada about strangers bound by a shared adventure to their pasts, for a chance to change their future. The film stars Margot Robbie, Colin Farrell, Kevin Kline, and Phoebe Waller-Bridge. Watch the trailer below.

Both Academy-winning nominees, Margot Robbie and Colin Farrell, return to the big screen after starring in Barbie and The Penguin, respectively. Robbie and Farrell have both acted in the DC Universe. Robbie played Harley Quinn for two of the action-packed Suicide Squad films. Farrell played Oz Cobb, the Penguin, in The Batman and The Penguin TV show. Now, the duo team up in this new romantic fantasy film.

A Big Bold Beautiful Journey asks audiences a “what if” question of a lifetime—what if you could open a doorway and walk through it to re-live a defining moment from your past? Sarah (Margot Robbie) and David (Colin Farrell) are single strangers who meet at a mutual friend’s wedding and soon, through a surprising twist of fate, find themselves on a funny, fantastical, sweeping adventure together where they get to re-live important moments from their respective pasts, illuminating how they got to where they are in the present…and possibly getting a chance to alter their futures.

The trailer evokes a deep sense of longing, paired with Gracie Abrams’ song, “I miss you, I’m sorry,” which is the perfect anthem for what the film is about. The ending line, “No matter who you are in your life, you just need someone to share it with,” perfectly sets the tone and hypes viewers to watch the film.

A Big Bold Beautiful Journey is directed by Kogonada, written by Seth Reiss, and produced by Bradley Thomas, Ryan Friedkin, Seth Reiss, Youree Henly, with executive producers being Kogonada, Ilene Feldman, Gino Falsetto, Ori Eisen, Paul Mezey, Micah Green, Dan Steinman, and John Atwood.

Get ready as A Big Bold Beautiful Journey is out in Philippine cinemas soon.
