Dolly de Leon makes her Hollywood return following her announcement as a cast member of the upcoming Apple TV+ series, Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed. De Leon joins award-winning cast members Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law) and Jake Johnson (New Girl, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse).
The seasoned actress is set to star as Detective Sofia Gonzales in the 10-episode dark comedy thriller, which features a divorced mom (Maslany) getting caught up in a perilous web of blackmail, murder, and youth soccer.
A nominee for the Golden Globe and BAFTA, de Leon has shown world-class acting at age 56 with award-winning performances in Triangle of Sadness and Nine Perfect Strangers.
“There’s nothing like the prospect of working with people whose work you admire…I’m beyond excited!” Dolly said in an interview.
Dolly continues to be a tour de force, making a name for herself and for Filipinos in the entertainment industry.
