What happens when East Asia and Japanese cultures meet? TEA Art Hub is the answer.
Located in Warehouse 5 at Ratchadaphisek-Rama III Road in Bangkok, Thailand, TEA (Thai East Asian) Art Hub is having a TEA Art Weekend, welcoming visitors to a unique experience that centers around the exhibit, Poetic Machines & Paper Heroes: From Quiet Determination to Daring Dreams. From paper-crafted robots to heroes jumping out of pages, the exhibit will be filled with contemporary art, live performances, and more that reverberate through the past and reimagine the future—through film, art, and community.
Alongside the exhibit is a cinematic showcase, a mini art fair weekend, and a pop-up by BSC Cosmetology, I C Lab, His & Her, and Era-Won x Stranger Things, weaving various activities that every art enthusiast will enjoy. The showcase will also have a rare Japanese film program, short films, video art, and more. The mini art fair at the TEA Art Hub will also have stalls that feature brands and galleries, where artists can purchase and exhibit their art for everyone to see.
Catch the TEA Art Hub and TEA Art Weekend at Warehouse 5 behind KingSquare Community in Bang Phong Phang, Yan Nawa, Bangkok on August 16 to 17 and 23 to 24. The event runs from 3 PM to 9 PM with free admission.
