Thailand Biennale 2025 Contemporary Art Exhibition goes to Phuket

Contemporary arts makes a strong statement with its bi-annual celebration festival, the Thailand Biennale, to be held in Phuket Province: Mueang District, Kathu District, and Thalang District, from November 2025 to April 2026. As the fourth edition of the contemporary arts festival, the encompassing theme is “Eternal Kalpa,” which aims to explore the connection between humans and the environment through nature and ecology-inspired masterpieces.

The Ministry of Culture’s Office of Contemporary Art and Culture (OCAC) is supporting the initiative, ensuring that contemporary art is celebrated, with the unique feature that every festival is hosted by a different province. This year, the industry aims to highlight Phuket Province, known as the “City of Creative Art.”

The exhibition is set to bring together 65 local and international artists, selected by the Southern Artistic Committee. Some of the prominent artists and exhibits include Andrew Thomas Huang (USA) with “Weaving Myth, Memory, and the Future Through Art”; Eiji Sumi (Thailand) with “Alchemy of Light, Science, and Human Perception”; and Haig Aivzian (Lebanon) with “Architect of Light, Law, and Latent Histories.”

Thailand Biennale 2025 aims to spark interest in contemporary art, spotlight emerging artists, and to boost the economic value of local arts and culture while driving interest to Phuket. Know more about Thailand Biennale Phuket 2025 and visit www.thailandbiennale.org.
