The Korea Festival is coming back for 2025, setting sail for Cagayan De Oro! Hosted by the Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines, the event aims to be a celebration of everything Korean for K-culture fans and casual mall goers.
The event will display Korean traditional arts, music, clothing, and cuisine, while also exploring the excitement and impact of K-pop and K-dramas in local pop culture. Attendees will witness performances of Korean and Filipino traditional music and dance, and a special sport showcase from the Korea Taekwondo Association (KTA) Demonstration Team. Visitors can also explore cultural booths featuring Hanbok (traditional Korean attire) and Hangeul (Korean language), led by the Korea Tourism Organization Manila (KTO Manila) and the Korea Copyright Protection Agency Manila (KCOPA Manila).
Last year’s Korea Festival celebrated 75 years of friendship between Korea and the Philippines with the theme “K-Culture Next Door: 2024 Korea Festival” at SM Mall of Asia Music Hall, and SM Seaside City Cebu.
