The ultimate food guide is coming to the Philippines! Known for its world-renowned food rating system, the Michelin Guide is set to highlight a selection of restaurants that showcase the local cuisines of Metro Manila, Cebu, Pampanga, Tagaytay, and Cavite.
Anonymous Michelin inspectors have been exploring the culinary landscape of the Philippines, evaluating restaurants across the country based on five global standards: quality of ingredients, mastery of technique, harmony of flavors, the chef’s personality expressed through the cuisine, and consistency. These criteria have been kept to sustain the global standard of food excellence that the Michelin Guide is known for.

“The country’s deep-rooted culinary traditions, combined with a strong openness to global influences, create a uniquely diverse dining culture,” shared by Michelin Guide International Director Gwendal Poullennec in a statement.
