The Labubu craze is at fever pitch! The line of collectible plush toys has been taking the world by storm, with big eyes, sharp teeth, and cute expressions that make collectors go crazy. And now, the craze has reached Singapore, with a limited Pop Mart Labubu pop-up happening until October!
Labubus were the brainchild of Kasing Lung, a Hong Kong artist who created the comic book trilogy, The Monsters, in 2015. Based on Nordic folklore and mythology, the comic book series focused on the lives of Puka, Pato, and Miro and their mischievous deeds and funny misadventures. This became the basis for Labubu, which is now a hit line of collectibles by Pop Mart, a Chinese toy company.
This 2025 marks Labubu’s 10th anniversary, and the height of popularity for the toy line. The striking huge eyes paired with sharp teeth and themed costumes make for an overall charming effect on collectors, with Labubu being one of Pop Mart’s biggest sellers.

Now, Labubu is making waves in Singapore through VivioCity’s Labubu Mini Market, alongside a Pop Mart Pop-Up Store. The mini market has four zones with life-sized Labubu installations featuring the cute monsters taking over market-themed stops. The Pop Mart Pop-Up store also features exclusive Labubu items, ranging from plushies to merchandise like bags, keychains, and pillows, to name a few.
Visit VivioCity in Singapore until October 19 for the Labubu Mini Mart and Pop Mart Pop-up Store!
