The Straw Hats are about to set sail on the Grand Line soon! But before they grace our screens next year, Netflix dropped behind-the-scenes videos, a ton of first-look posters, and stills for the upcoming second season of One Piece.

Join us as we take a peek at this smorgasbord of content. Spoilers ahead, so be warned.

We recently made a post mentioning the posters depicting various arcs from the anime. So far, the One Piece anime has 34 arcs. The live-action season 1 adapted the East Blue Saga that dealt with Romance Dawn when Zorro (Mackenyu) joined the crew, Orange Town with Nami (Emily Rudd)joining, Syrup Village with Usopp (Jacob Romero), Baratie with Sanji (Taz Skylar), and the Arlong Park arc.

Based on the posters released by Netflix, season 2 of the live-action adaptation will include the Loguetown Arc, transitioning into the Arabasta Saga, which contains the Reverse Mountain, Whiskey Peak Arc, Little Gardens, and Drum Island arcs.

Getting into the production stills, we see the city of Loguetown—where legendary pirate Gold Roger was born and executed. Before any pirate can enter the Grand Line in search of the One Piece, they first have to get a Log Pose—an in-world compass from Loguetown. Luffy and the Straw Hats meet a new batch of characters here, including Captain Smoker (Callum Kerr) and Tashigi (Julia Rehwald), who make their first appearance when they meet Luffy and Zorro, respectively.

We also see photos of Reverse Mountain—a mysterious mountain where the Four Seas flow upwards, forming dangerous rapids that destroy even the most durable pirate ships. Netflix has revealed two of the characters that are essential to this arc: Crokus (Clive Russell) and Laboon—an old man and a battered whale waiting for his friends to return. The story here is a heartfelt one, and we’re excited to see it adapted on screen.

While not a lot of photos have been released for Whiskey Peak, this part of the story is where the Straw Hats meet Baroque Works—the evil organization that is connected to Crocodile. We do get an awesome still of Zorro doing one of his iconic three-sword style poses. A foe becomes a friend here, too, but you’ll have to watch the season to find out who it is if you haven’t read the manga or watched the anime.

At Little Gardens, we explore the land of Giants—or at least it’s been that way for the past century because of Borggy and Doggy’s feud. The technique used to make these characters bigger on screen is an interesting one, plus these two giants inspire the Straw Hats a lot, especially Usopp and Luffy. Netflix also recently released a sneak peek of the wax house of Mr. 3 (David Dastmalchian) in Little Gardens.

We also have glimpses of what Drum Island is going to look like. We’ve seen what the boys are capable of when their nakama Nami cries; now we’ll see just how dedicated they are when she’s sick and on the brink of death. We also meet a tsundere reindeer here and learn about his heartbreaking story. This arc is going to be chilly and heartwarming for all the viewers.

Two more characters join the lineup of awesome characters—Miss Wednesday (Charithra Chandran) and Miss All-Sunday (Lera Abova), who are later revealed to be key players in the story since one is a princess while the other is a wanted “criminal.” Both actresses received backlash for being cast in their respective roles, but we think it would be interesting to see how they bring their characters to life on the screen.

Lastly, we have these production photos showcasing how meticulously the scenes were shot to capture the charm of the anime.

As of writing this story, Netflix has revealed the episode names for One Piece season 2. In alphabetical order, their titles are Big Trouble in Little Garden, Deer and Loathing in Drum Kingdom, Good Whale Hunting, Nami Deerest, Reindeer Shames, The Beginning of the End, Wax On, Wax Off, and Whisky Business. If the live action is staying true to the source material, our theory is that the episodes will be as follows: The Beginning of the End, Good Whale Hunting, Whisky Business, Big Trouble in Little Garden, Wax On, Wax Off, Nami Deerest, Deer and Loathing in Drum Kingdom, and Reindeer Shames. But let’s see if they make any drastic changes to the story.

One Piece Season 2 is streaming  on Netflix this March 10, 2026, so stay tuned to see how they adapt the fan-favorite anime.
