Spread the love

Celebrate the collective commitment and united stand of our Singaporean brothers and sisters at The Defence Collective Festival 2025.

The Singapore Navy Museum, Singapore Air Force Museum, and Singapore Discovery Centre are participating in this two-weekend event to give visitors fun and informative experiences about Singaporean defense. All three locations have a free pass, but if you want to try out the other activities to do per each location and get a chance to win a blindbox plushie, you can pay for a Single Pass ($12), which gives you a Museum passport, or an All-Access Pass ($32) for all 3 locations.

At the Singapore Navy Museum, visitors can participate in a Naval Engineering Workshop that allows you to design your unique model warship made out of recycled materials; a Submarine Challenge with an underwater obstacle course; and a Military Coins Showcase where you can learn more about the rich naval history of Singapore. If you have an Activity Pass, you can go on a Military Expert Dior’s Trade Quest and Lieutenant Seymour’s Sensory Chamber—both are challenges where you will have to crack through puzzle-solving and teamwork.

At the Singapore Air Force Museum, non-Activity Pass holders will have to register for free activities, including an Aircraft Workshop, Combat Fighter: The Reaction Game, and Flight Simulator. Visitors will get the chance to experience what it’s like to be on the air as a fighter pilot, while Pass holders can participate in Lieutenant Eli’s Sky Search and Captain Ted’s Little Pilots’ Runway—a scavenger hunt and codebreaking game, as well as a test runway where kids can pilot electric carts that zoom through a flight path.

Lastly, at the Singapore Discovery Centre, visitors can visit the Build The Nation play zone, AR Colouring Workshop, and Carnival Booths for everyone to enjoy. There are also army-themed activities—Warrior Challenge, Let’s Get Outfield Camp experience, Crossfire Paintball Shooting Lanes, and Black Lake Laser Battlefield. Participants who complete the challenges will win a dog tag as a keepsake. For Activity Pass holders, you can participate in Explorer SingaPaw’s Cultural Quest and Recruit SingaPaw’s Escape Maze, where you can complete missions and evade sneaky enemies, or get through obstacle-filled rooms, tricky puzzles, and teamwork-centric challenges.

On the opening day itself, you can get the chance to meet content creators supercatkei and artist WhyLucas at a fanmeet event. You can also visit the KAKEE Radio Truck to meet DJs playing their sets for the day.

Catch the Defence Collective Festival on November 15 to 16 and November 22 to 23 at the Singapore Navy Museum, Singapore Air Force Museum, and Singapore Discovery Centre, and learn about the work that goes into defending the nation.
