Seiko Philippines launched its 6th Philippine Limited Edition series, reimagining the Philippine islands. With the three-way release of Seiko 5 Sports timepieces, the watchmaking company aims to incorporate the story of the Philippine islands into its latest limited edition product.
First in store is the #SSK051K1, a watch inspired by the Cobblestone Streets of Calle Crisologo in Vigan, Northern Luzon. Capturing a two-toned bezel and a white dial, the watch sports a rich brown-black contrast that represents the colors of the concrete and wood of the acclaimed street that stood the test of time and reflects Philippine architecture in the Spanish colonial era.
Second on the list is #SSK055K1, a watch that mimics the beauty of Bohol’s Chocolate Hills in Central Visayas. With a two-toned dark gray and brown bezel and a forest-green dial, the watch tells the story of the Chocolate Hills’ ever-changing colors throughout the Philippines’ seasons—its green peaks shining in the sun, its gray silhouette reflecting the moonlight, and its chocolate-y brown color during the dry season.
Last in the collection is #SSK053K1, a watch that reflects Zamboanga renowned beaches in Mindanao. Its two-toned black and blue bezel and sky blue dial represents the coastline and the divide between the sea and sky—a scenic beauty that you can only experience in Zamboanga.
Each watch comes with a 4R34 automatic movement with manual winding, a 41-hour power reserve, and a dual time display.
Seiko is known for its limited edition series, with special timepieces made since 2020 to celebrate Filipino heritage and natural wonders.
