HBO Max announced their biggest lineup yet, featuring 16 upcoming shows, all revealed through a sneak peek video.

If you’re looking for a show to watch next year, HBO Max has a variety to choose from—from returning shows to limited series and originals. Check out the full list below.

The Pitt Season 2

Are you ready to return to Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center’s Emergency Department? The Pitt season 2 will be set ten months after we last saw the stress and chaos in the worst shift of the medical center. Now, we see the team back in the ER for the 4th of July. What fresh hell will Doctor Robby (Noah Wyle), Doctor Langdon (Patrick Ball) and the rest of the team experience? Find out starting January 8, 2026.

Industry Season 5

The warpath created by the London Investment bank scene is back with one final season. This time around, viewers will follow duo Harper Stern (Myha’la) and Yasmin Kara-Hanani (Marisa Abela) as they take on a new fintech company that enters London. Drama, pressure, money, and power mesh into one viewing experience. Catch season 5 of Industry on January 11, 2026.

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms takes place a century before war broke out in Game of Thrones. Based on George R.R. Martin’s Tales of Dunk and Egg, viewers follow the legendary hedge knight, Ser Duncan (Peter Claffey) and his squire, Egg (Dexter Sol Ansell), as they embark on a journey together in an era where dragons are extinct and the Targaryens still sat on the Iron Throne. Catch their big adventure starting January 18, 2026.

Rooster

It’s looking like 2026 is a good year for comedy. Steve Carell and Charly Clive are set to make you laugh with the new comedy series Rooster. The story follows an author as he tries to navigate a complicated relationship with his daughter. The series will be 10 episodes long and is slated for a March 2026 release.

The Comeback Season 3

The Comeback has Friends star Lisa Kudrow returning as sitcom actress Valerie Cherish. The mockumentary series first premiered in 2005 for a 13-episode run, returning in 2014 for an 8-episode season, and now returning for a comeback this 2026. What new adventures will Valerie face as she returns to modern-day Hollywood? Find out this March 2026.

Euphoria Season 3

High school has ended and it isn’t what the East Highland High School graduates thought it would be. Euphoria’s mini-clip in the HBO teaser features Hunter Schafer, Alexa Demie, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, and more as they reprise their roles in the hit series. Season 3 is set right after high school graduation, with Rue (Zendaya) in Mexico paying a drug debt to Laurie (Martha Kelly), Jules pursuing art (Schafer), Maddy (Demie) working in Hollywood, and Cassie (Sweeny) and Nate (Elordi) engaged and navigating social media pressures. Find out how these characters will deal with adulthood and their past traumas in April 2026.

House of the Dragon Season 3

Another Game of Thrones prequel is part of HBO Max’s 2026 lineup. House of the Dragon follows the story of the Targaryens as they battle for the throne and succession rights. In season 3, viewers will see the devastating Battle of the Gullet that depicts the escalation of conflict between Team Black (Rhaenyra) and Team Green (Aegon II). Dune Prophecy Season 2

Pious devotion and deceit continue to plague the Imperium in Dune Prophecy. The series is set 10,000 years before Paul Atretes’ (Timothy Chamelet) birth in Dune. Season 2 is inspired by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson’s novel Sisterhood of Dune, where two Harkonnen sisters (Emily Watson and Olivia Williams) are strategically expanding the order that eventually becomes the Bene Gesserit, as they get a glimpse of the embers that started the Atreides and Harkonnen feud, and battle the Thinking Machines. The series is slated for a 2026 release, so stay tuned for updates.

Hacks Season 5

Emmy-winning comedy Hacks is ending with this fifth season. Jean Smart and Hannah Einbinder return as actress-ghostwriter duo Deborah and Ava. Season 4 ended with Deborah having renewed conviction after TMZ falsely reported her death, as she aims to reclaim her story in the new season. Lanterns

It’s an intergalactic sci-fi noir mystery for the Green Lantern Corps’ new recruit John Stewart (Aaron Pierre) and veteran Hal Jordan (Kyle Chandler). The duo begins investigating a murder in Nebraska, which leads to a darker mystery in store for them. Production recently finished on the series and its slated for a late summer release.

Stuart Fails to Save the Universe

One of Big Bang Theory’s recurring characters Stuart Bloom (Kevin Sussman) is getting a spin-off series! Stuart is a fellow nerd who runs a comic bookstore that Leonard Hofsteader (Johnny Galecki), Sheldon Cooper (Jim Parsons), Raj Koothrappali (Kunal Nayyar), and Howard Wolowitz (Simon Helberg) often frequent for their comic book needs. But when Stuart accidentally wrecks one of Sheldon and Leonard’s devices and literally breaks reality, it’s up to him to save the day and put the universe back together.

War

What’s the tea from the biggest divorce case of the year? War is an upcoming series from Lupin and Criminal creator George Kay. The show will bring a whirlwind of legal drama as two prestigious London law firms clash for the divorce of a tech magnate and his movie star wife. 

Half Man

Richard Gadd returns to television with an all new series, Half Man. One of the latest projects from HBO’s partnership with the BBC, this series is reportedly about a pair of brothers (Gadd and Jamie Bell). No further details have been announced about the series, so stay tuned for updates.

DTF St. Louis

Jason Bateman and David Harbour star in the dark comedy mini series DTF St. Louis. The story follows three middle-aged adults sucked into a love triangle. The twist: this mid-life crisis ends up with someone’s demise.

Mel Brooks: The 99 Year Old Man

Get a peek behind the curtain of legendary filmmaker and comedian Mel Brooks. Mel Brooks: The 99 Year Old Man is a two-episode documentary about his 80-year long career, as well as his return to direct the Space Balls sequel.

Untitled Larry David Project

After a legendary 12-season run, Larry David’s Curb Your Enthusiasm ended in 2024 and fans have been waiting for his next project ever since. Finally, HBO Max teased a new project for 2026. Despite not having a name yet, the snippet seems to be a new limited series retelling America’s history. It’ll also be produced by the Obamas, though there’s no definite date for release yet.
