LOOK: 31st Critics Choice Awards Winners

Spread the love

It’s awards season once again. A week before the Golden Globes, the 31st Critic Choice Awards (CCA) has given us a glimpse of what Hollywood has deemed worthy of industry recognition.

The CCA is one of the many award-giving bodies that consists of broadcast, radio, online critics, and entertainment journalists who review films, documentaries, and scripted and unscripted television. Founded 30 years ago by Joey Berlin, Rod Lurie and 42 other founding members, it’s now the largest critics organization in the U.S. and Canada with over 600 members.

This year’s edition of the awards program was held at the Barker Hanger in Santa Monica Airport, California and hosted by comedian and actress Chelsea Handler. With 121 films, series, and other programs nominated, One Battle After Another took the lead for film with four awards including Best Picture, while The Pitt won the most awards for television series with three awards.
