Our frontliners, our healthcare workers who at the forefront of the rising Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation, have been braving the long work hours in order to help those affected by the virus, including the thousands in question.

In this article, we list down the healthcare units, hospitals, organizations in the Philippines everyone can support or donate to. A small gratitude such as a donation makes the biggest difference to our heroes in this crucial time.

 

Philippine General Hospital

The Philippine General Hospital (PGH) is accepting Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as donations.

Everyone can donate surgical mask, face shield, N95 mask, and surgical gowns to be used in the everyday operations of the hospital.

UP College of Medicine

The UP College of Medicine are calling for donations of N95 masks and alcohol for the PGH interns to help protect them and the patients from the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus which causes COVID-19.

Donations may be given to the Office of the Deputy Director for Health Operations (DDHO) located near the main entrance of the Philippine General Hospital.

Together, we can all protect our frontliners and stop the spread of COVID-19!

Child Hope Philippines

Childhope Philippines has been working closely since the onset of the outbreak. Our actions to prevent the spread of the disease have included launching handwashing campaigns through alternative learning sessions to improve preventative practices amongst street children.

Childhope Philippines is providing hygiene materials for hundreds of street children under their care; assistance in hospitalization and on laboratory exams; and support with health education messaging. Just 10$ or Php500 could help provide one complete set of hygiene kits to a street child, while $20 or Php1000 could help provide vitamins and medicines to help prevent the spread of disease.
