You can still catch live masterclasses, virtual food tours and more until Aug. 31!
Singapore has always been one of my favorite countries to visit – from the lush green areas, museums that unveil its unique mix of cultures… and of course, the food! Cereal prawn, chili crab, char kway teow… the list goes on when it comes to dishes I can’t wait to try every time I arrive in Singapore.
From hawker centers with a bewildering variety of delectable dishes to Michelin-starred restaurants, Singapore’s food culture is truly one where you can savour every bite. And for foodies looking forward to the Singapore Food Festival, fear not, as this year’s virtual edition allows you to experience Singapore’s unique dining culture from the comfort of your home.
This year’s theme is “Rediscover the Foodie in You”, and is part of the SingapoRediscovers campaign, launched to encourage locals (and even tourists missing the culinary adventure that is Singapore due to the pandemic) to find a different side of Singapore through hidden gems. It’s all happening from August 21 – 30 and will feature live masterclasses with some of Singapore’s most renowned chefs, virtual food tours along Singapore’s historic districts, food bundles and even limited-edition merchandise!
So what’s on the menu for this upcoming weekend at the Singapore Food Festival? Here are just some of the delicious experiences that await you this Aug. 28 – 30!
