Filipino-Chinese actress and singer Cathy Ang debuts single for Netflix’s “Over the Moon”

Highly anticipated musical animation film Over the Moon film star, Cathy Ang debuts the film’s single “Rocket to the Moon”. The songs were created by Christopher Curtis (Chaplin), Marjorie Duffield and Helen Park (KPOP). Watch and listen to the lyric video of “Rocket to the Moon“ here:

Over the Moon tells the story of a bright young girl, fueled with determination and a passion for science, builds a rocket ship to the moon to prove the existence of a legendary Moon Goddess. There she ends up on an unexpected quest, and discovers a whimsical land of fantastical creatures.  Directed by animation legend Glen Keane, and produced by Gennie Rim and Peilin Chou, Over the Moon is an exhilarating musical adventure about moving forward, embracing the unexpected, and the power of imagination. The film stars Cathy Ang, Phillipa Soo, Ken Jeong, John Cho, Ruthie Ann Miles, Sandra Oh, Robert G. Chiu, Margaret Cho, and Kimiko Glenn.

The film is directed by Oscar winner Glen Keane (Dear Basketball) and written by Audrey Wells. The film is executively produced by Janet Yang (The Joy Luck Club), Glen Keane, Ruigang Li, Frank Zhu, Thomas Hui and produced by Gennie Rim (Dear Basketball) and Peilin Chou (Abominable). Over the Moon is set to release on October 23rd of this year.
