Crown Channel and Riot Games To Host VALORANT Experimental Arts Festival

Valorant Festival
Spread the love

Crown Channel and Riot Games teams up to kick off 2021 with wwFest: VALORANT, an experimental music and arts festival happening this January 15, 2021.

Viewers will enjoy a merging of physical and digital worlds, with a sprawling exhibition space inspired by the in-game world of VALORANT, Riot’s stylish, competitive tactical shooter game. The festival will include musical performances from a growing roster of international musicians, artists, and dancers, including: ARMNHMR, Moore Kismet, Ookay, and Whipped Cream, with more to be announced.
Capturing the excitement of an in-person event, wwFest: VALORANT will give viewers an immersive, interactive festival event to be enjoyed from the comfort of home. Using the latest in drone technology, wwFest: VALORANT will be a first-of-its-kind concert experience, with enough variety and detail to rival a physical event. The festival’s live music performances and active art installations will be captured by stunning drone footage filmed from the perspective of VALORANT Agents: Raze, Reyna, Phoenix, Killjoy, and Jett.
Viewers will be able to curate their own personalized festival experience via unique drone feeds that each represent a different VALORANT agent, allowing viewers to explore a recreation of the in-game world of VALORANT, and capturing pre- and post-performance moments through the ‘eyes’ of the agents themselves. Each agent’s feed will be tailored to reflect their individual attitude, culture, and style, and when the agent is on the main stage, viewers will see a variety of expansive, close-up, and alternate angles during the on-stage performances. Meanwhile, the main feed at https://www.twitch.tv/crown will spotlight the most exciting and beautiful moments throughout the festival, providing a comprehensive look at the day’s performances. No matter which VALORANT agent you choose to view, the seat you’re in will be the best seat in the house.
Crown Channel and Riot Games will reveal more details about the festival, including the full talent line-up, in the coming weeks. For all things wwFest:VALORANT, be sure to follow Crown Channel and @PlayVALORANT on Twitter.
