Ready your tissues! A new ‘Doraemon’ movie is almost here and it’s already promising something sweet.
‘Stand By Me Doraemon 2’, the follow-up to the 2014 ‘Doraemon’ movie, sees Nobita and Shizuka tying the knot—with our favorite gang all complete to attend the wedding ceremony!
Based on the popular Japanese anime, the film follows Nobita, who before marrying his “dream of happiness” Shizuka, must flee into the past to see Doraemon again.

The film premiered last November 2020 in Japan despite the cinema limitations due to COVID-19. It earned $3.7 million and ranked number two on the Japanese box office.
Directed by Ryuichi Yagi and Takashi Yamazaki, the film features a voice cast comprised of Wasabi Mizuta, Megumi Ōhara, Yumi Kakazu, Subaru Kimura, Tomokazu Seki, Nobuko Miyamoto, and Satoshi Tsumabuki.
