Universal Studios Japan is gearing up for the March 18 grand opening of Super Nintendo World to the public after almost eight months of delay due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Be ready to explore Peach’s Castle, go on Yoshi’s Adventure, and ride a real-world Mario Kart, which are among the many new attractions you can look forward to. The Super Nintendo World experience will be banking on its interactivity, as each visitor will be given “quests” as well as a wristband connected to a mobile phone app to guide them. Visitors will then go on a treasure-hunt style puzzle-solving game in order to collect keys and defeat the nefarious Bowser Jr. You can even experience hitting a POW block yourself, just like Mario in the video games!

The theme park will be following strict health and safety protocols to prevent infections from spreading. Only a certain number of visitors would be allowed to enter the park, which will be enforced through numbered tickets with specific entry times.
