Prepare your spare change because it’s once again time to toss a coin to your witcher! The Witcher season 2 has just wrapped up production, so expect to see Geralt of Rivia and his friends soon. Watch the behind-the-scenes video of The Witcher season 2 production wrap-up below.

In the video, showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich took the opportunity to explain the challenges they faced while shooting during the pandemic. According to Hissrich, the crew of over 1,200 people and 89 cast members shot for 158 days while taking the necessary precautions like wearing face masks and face shields.

The video also shows a sneak peak of what to expect for the next season such as new costumes for Geralt and Ciri, and a few shots of the new set locations. Hissrich mentions that this season will be adapting the first novel of the Witcher saga, Blood of Elves, which follows Geralt and Ciri training together at Kaer Morhen.

Aside from a second season, Netflix is also planning to produce a live-action prequel series and an anime film based on the series.
