Everyone loves Mcdonald’s, and that includes BTS! Using their World Famous Fries in a teaser video, McDonald’s announced their collaboration with the international K-pop superstars for the creation of the BTS Meal, which is the group’s go-to order whenever they eat at the global fast food icon.
“The band has great memories with McDonald’s. We’re excited about this collaboration and can’t wait to share the BTS Meal with the world,” said Big Hit Music in a statement regarding the inspired menu.
The BTS Meal contains medium fries, medium Coca-Cola, and 10 pieces of Chicken McNuggets with sweet chili and cajun dipping sauces, which are inspired by McDonald’s South Korea food items.
“No matter who you are, everyone has a go-to order at McDonald’s – even international superstars like BTS.” said Oliver Rabatan, McDonald’s Philippines Marketing and Channels Head. “This band is truly a global phenomenon with a fanbase that knows no borders, and we couldn’t be more excited to bring the Meal to our customers in the Philippines starting June,” added Rabatan.
As the first McDonald’s celebrity meal to be released globally, this is sure to draw the attention of ARMYs from all over the world to the fast food giant. The BTS Meal will be available in the Philippines on June 18, 2021, so make sure to mark your calendars for a visit to Mcdonald’s or to order a delivery when the meal drops in branches near you!
