Ghost Lab is a horror-thriller film directed by “Goff” Paween Purijitpanya and produced by GDH 559.
As Thailand is experiencing a third wave of the COVID-19 virus causing the shutdown of numerous cinemas across the country, Netflix swooped in to make sure that viewers will still be able to enjoy this movie. This makes Ghost Lab the first GDH film to be exclusive to Netflix, and the first Thai film to be produced in Dolby Vision.
The film stars Thanapob Leeratanakachorn, Paris Intarakomalyasut, and Nuttanicha Dungwattanawanich and follows an intriguing storyline that combines science with the supernatural. “The storyline is quite unconventional, because it attempts a deeper exploration of our belief in the supernatural, and whether this can be proven by science.” According to director Purijitpanya. “I hope this movie will encourage the audience to contemplate their ways of life and find the answers to their questions.”
This is a film that is definitely not one to miss as it dives deeper into the supernatural world through the lens of science. And with production company GDH 559 being one of the leading quality film producers in the country who gave us the hit film Bad Genius, it gives us more reason to be excited about this movie. We can definitely expect to see some quality cinematography and a plot that will keep us on the edge of our seats!
Catch Ghost Lab this May 26 exclusively on Netflix.
