Marvel releases first-look trailer for “The Eternals”

Marvel Studios has released the first official trailer of The Eternals, giving us a peek on the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s next ensemble blockbuster after The Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy.

Written and directed by Chloe Zhao, who recently won Best Director and Best Picture at the Oscars for Nomadland, the film tells the story of the Eternals, a race of immortal beings with superhuman powers who have secretly lived on Earth for thousands of years, reunite to battle the evil Deviants. Watch the trailer below.

 The film will feature a star-studded cast that includes Richard Madden (Ikaris), Gemma Chan (Sersi), Kumail Nanjiani (Kingo), Lauren Ridloff (Makkari), Brian Tyree Henry (Phastos), Salma Hayek (Ajak), Lia McHugh (Sprite), Don Lee (Gilgamesh), Barry Keoghan (Druig), Angelina Jolie (Thena), and Kit Harington (Dane Whitman).

The Eternals is the third film of the MCU’s Phase 4 after July’s Black Widow and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings in September. It’s set to be released this November 2021 so stay tuned for more updates!
