It might not come as surprise to you that the three versions of Spider-Man have found their ways to each other in the recent Spider-Man movie, unless you’ve been living under a rock. Well, get ready to spot more details (and probably clues?) as the extended version of the film comes to cinemas in September.
Sony announced on June 2022 that a fan cut of the 3rd best-selling superhero film and 6th best-selling movie of all time (globally) will arrive in theaters this September, in celebration of the 60 years of the comic book character and 20 years of Spider-Man films.
The official account of the movie posted a video on Twitter, together with the three actors of the character. They wrote, “You wanted more Spidey and you got it!”

Curently at $1.9 billion gross worldwide, it is expected that the re-release of the film will allow the movie to cross the $2 billion mark by the end of 2022. Which we really can’t deny its impressiveness, considering that the movie premiered during a global pandemic and without a release in China.
Will Marvel fans see more Easter eggs from the ‘more fun stuff version’ of the film, or will they just enjoy more screen time of the friendly neighborhood Spideys? Either way, “see you at the theaters, besties”!
see you at the theater, besties 😉
