“The hierarchy of power in the #DCUniverse is changing,” Dwayne Johnson, that will be playing Black Adam, wrote on his Twitter account along with the movie trailer.

Black Adam was initially set to release last July but moved to October. The movie will also introduce the Justice Society and give the DC Universe a new start, according to Johnson.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson also made an epic electrifying entrance bringing out fans’ screams.

Dressed in Black Adam’s costume, Johnson entered Hall H in #ComicCon followed by strobe light flashing and smoke flowing unto him with the sound of lighting. It was a remarkable moment for everyone as fans filled Hall H with cheering and excitement!

Viola Davis was also announced to appear in Black Adam as Amanda Waller. This will be Viola’s comeback with DC Extended Universe since Suicide Squad.

FIRST TRAILER FOR ‘SHAZAM! FURY OF THE GODS’

Lead actor Zachary Levi revealed that in ‘Shazam 2,’ Shazam Family will all be heroes as their kids get their superpowers at the end of the last movie. It was also revealed that fans could expect a little drama in the upcoming sequel as lead actor Zachary teased, “Super family comes with super problems. There are all little family tiffs and family drama, so we’re trying to figure it out.”

Along with Zachary Levi, more Shazam casts were also present, including Jack Dylan Grazer, Asher Angel, and Lucy Liu, which their attendance brought more fun and excitement to the crowd.

Lucy Lui also took the stage to express gratitude for being part of the incredible DC Universe. “To be part of the DC Universe and this world is the most exciting things that probably has ever happened in my career because I grew up watching all of those [titles] and reading comic books. Being here now and being a woman of color, and having this really wonderful career that I have had, it was an honor to be part of something this special,” Liu said.

It was also unexpected news to DC fans to not here any updates on other titles such as sequel’s on Aquaman, The Batman, Batgirl, Wonder Woman, The Flash, and Static Shock.

Even though there weren’t any updates with the titles mentioned above, ‘Black Adam’ and ‘Shazam! Fury of the Gods is still something to wait for, and get excited about this 2022.
