Following the release of their disco-pop single ‘WYAT,’ the boy band posted a one-minute teaser for their upcoming WYAT (Where You At) global tour, revealing the cities and dates.
SB19’s tour will begin on September 17 with a sold-out, one-night-only show at the Araneta Coliseum, followed by stops in Cebu (October 1), Clark (October 8), and Davao (October 15). In October and November, they will fly to Dubai, New York, Los Angeles, and Singapore. Other specifics, such as venues and ticket prices, are yet to be revealed.
“We’re excited to meet our international fans. If I may put it: we were caterpillars inside cocoons when we were just starting, and now, we’ve turned into butterflies ready to spread our wings,” Josh mentioned in an earlier press release.
Their new single and first world tour mark the Filipino quintet’s comeback since they released their EP Pagsibol.
Member Stell told, “It’s been a year, the word ‘hiatus’ may sound negative but we took it from a different perspective. We maximized the opportunity to think more as to what we can improve on, how we can prepare for our comeback.”
The Mahalima was formed in 2016, of members Josh, Stell, Ken, Justin, and Pablo. SB19’s other hits include “SLMT,” “Mapa” and “Bazinga,” which topped Billboards Hot Trending Songs for six weeks from December to January, record-tying with BTS’ “Butter.”
