“Ajoomma” becomes first Singaporean film on Prime Video

Acclaimed Singaporean-South Korean film Ajoomma is having its streaming premiere on Prime Video this April 13, the first Singaporean film to be shown on the streamer!

 
The film directed by He Shuming became Singapore’s submission for the International Feature race of the 95th Oscars, follows a Korean soap opera-obsessed widow who travels abroad for the first time in Seoul. It stars Hong Huifang, Kang Hyung-seok, Jung Dong-hwan and Shane Pow.

The streaming release of Ajoomma continues Prime Video’s commitment in bringing more Southeast Asian content in their platform. Recently, the first Prime Video from the Philippines Ten Little Mistresses premiered with positive reactions.

Ajoomma will be accessible in key Southeast Asian countries such as Singapore, Malaysia and Brunei.
