Over 10,000 people experienced Thailand and its magic last weekend during the Magic of Thailand festival 2023 in Harbourside Park, Poole, UK.

The two-day festival showcased the nation’s diverse and flavorful culture from its dynamic gastronomy, rich trade products, expressive art and vibrant people.

The festivities kick off with a time-honored ritual of presenting food to Buddhist monks, setting the tone for a day brimming with entertainment.

Attendees can immerse themselves in the enchantment of traditional music and dance performances, witness Muay Thai boxing matches, indulge in the glamour Ladyboy shows, savor the flavors of a lively Thai beer garden and sample tantalizing Thai cuisine from a variety of food stalls featuring Thai street food, pad thai and exotic fruits.

For those seeking relaxation, there are rejuvenating Thai massages available, while the unique and intricate jewelries and crafts commonly sold as memorabilia for tourists are open for all.

Three Buddhist Monks also offer free blessings spreading love and peace. One of them, Nic, shared, “We want to make people happy and lucky and we are here for peace.”

The annual Magic of Thailand Festival began in 2012 and has created many jobs and businesses for the Thai community across the UK including London, Manchester and Brighton in which the festival is also celebrated.
