Filipino-American theater sensation Eva Noblezada lands the lead role in the upcoming world premiere of “The Great Gatsby”. The two-time Tony Award nominee and Theatre World Award winner is best known for her role as Kim in the revival of “Miss Saigon” and Eurydice in “Hadestown”.
Performing alongside her is Jeremy Jordan, a Tony and Drama Desk Award nominee and Theatre World Award winning actor from “Bonnie and Clyde”. Noblezada and Jordan will be playing Daisy Buchanan and Jay Gatsby respectively. Other cast members will be revealed in the coming weeks.
The production crew is nothing short of extreme talent as well with Kait Kerrigan heading the musical’s book, Nathan Tyson and Jason Howland doing the original score, Dominique Kelley as choreographer, Daniel Edmonds as musical director, and Marc Bruni as the director of the overall play.
This production is based on F. Scott Fitzgerald’s classic novel and is set to play a limited run at the Paper Mill Playhouse in New Jersey, USA on October 12 to November 12, 2023. Tickets will be on sale starting August 14.
