League of Legends based animated series Arcane, is making a comeback in our screens with the announcement of a Season 2!
For many years, gamers and fans of the franchise have been openly expressing their theories on the game’s lore, such as Vi and Jinx being sisters because of their similarities, and other notable ones which the animated series confirmed during its first season.
Now, League of Legends announced the release of its second season and fans are excited for new characters and the continuation of the story following the end of the first season.

Iconic characters will be back

You heard it right! Iit is confirmed by the announcement preview that Vi (Heilee Steinfeld), Jinx (Ella Purnell), and Caitlyn (Katie Leung), will be back on the upcoming season! Their voices can be heard in the preview stating a few lines from the series.

New characters

Since the announcement of the new season, fans are expecting to see more characters emerge from the League of Legends Lore. In the first one, many iconic characters were introduced. Apart from the main trio, we also learned about Jayce, Heimerdinger, and many more. In the second installment, fans are expecting more characters to be introduced, some speculate the presence of half human half werewolf Warwick because of the low growl in the announcement video.

In Season 1, we saw different leaders take over the undercity, with the death of the former ruler, Viktor, there is bound to be another leader. Many speculate Jinx to be the next leader of the undercity. However, with Vi’s strong personality and courageous personality, many also speculate she will have a claim to the throne. Either way, this will be an interesting scene to see the two sisters fight for their goal to make a name for themselves.
Release Date and Trailer
League of Legends officially announced that Arcane season 2 will be ready by the fourth quarter of 2024. The official trailer of the season is still to be released as well, leaving only the announcement video as a teaser for the fans. It’s a long wait for expectant fans of the franchise but it will definitely be worth it!

Arcane showcased many scenic locations in the series. From the contrast of the undercity and the topside, as well as Ekko’s hidden paradise, the world structuring left the fans at awe. The end of the season showcased technology of Jayce’s team that would lead economic progress and build relationships with other countries. With this might come a bigger scale of adventure for the viewer. Opening up new realms and places to interact with the characters.
