Dubbed one of the biggest jazz festivals in the world, the 19th edition of the music festival promises an array of performances from global musicians embodying its theme, “Embracing Unity through Music.” JJF 2024 will unfold in 11 different stages and offers a blend of local and international talents to satisfy everyone’s music cravings.
The festival’s star-studded lineup features Icelandic jazz performer Laufey and Swedish songwriter Snoh Aalegra as its headliners, with Indonesia’s finest musicians like Ananda Badudu, Bilal Indrajaya, Rahmania Astrini, Warna Reunited, Romantic Echoes, and more. Other international artists include Soul Train Music Awards nominee October London, English contemporary jazz group The Yussef Dayes Experience, South Korean duo 92914, and Grammy award-winning pianist Eliane Elias.
Before the much-awaited event happens, the Java Jazz On The Move (JJOTM) will offer a preview of the music festival in various locations in Jakarta and South Tangerang. Listeners can enjoy enticing beats and catch a glimpse of the upcoming festival lineup in this free pre-event.
