Ayala Malls Cinemas, which recently brought exclusively to Philippine cinemas Oscar winners “Anora,” “The Brutalist” and “A Real Pain,” brings to the big screen another new, exclusive and timely must-watch this season. “The Unbreakable Boy,” starring Zachary Levi (“Shazam!”), Meghann Fahy (“The White Lotus”) and Patricia Heaton (“Everybody Loves Raymond”), is based on the book “The Unbreakable Boy: A Father’s Fear, a Son’s Courage, and a Story of Unconditional Love,” which was in turn based on a true story.
When his parents, Scott (Levi) and Teresa (Fahy), learn that Austin (Jacob Laval) is both autistic and has brittle bone disease, they initially worry for their son’s future. But with Scott’s growing faith and Austin’s incredible spirit, they become “unbreakable,” finding joy, gratitude, and courage even in the most trying times – an extraordinary true story about a father and son learning together that every day can be the best day of your life! “The Unbreakable Boy” is directed by Jon Gunn, whose filmography includes beloved feel-good dramas, including faith-based films.
