Haikyu fans, are you ready to dine with your favorite characters from Karasuno? Doko Koko is back and serving fans with a one-of-a-kind dining experience.
Doko Koko is a themed cafe located at LaLaport Bukit Bintang City Centre (BBCC) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Specializing in collaborations with animation studios to bring anime IPs to life, the cafe creates customized menus, designs character-themed interiors, and sells merchandise so fans can get the best experience for a limited-time run.
The cafe most recently had a collaboration with My Hero Academia last July, and this time it returns for a new collab with Haikyu—the popular sports series about the Karasuno High School Volleyball Club. Fans love the anime for its theme of overcoming adversity and continually growing in strength through their own efforts and those around them. As of writing this article, Haikyu currently has an upcoming anime film called Haikyu!! vs. The Little Giant, and while there are no details yet on the release date, it’s something fans have been waiting for for a long time.

While waiting for news about the film’s premiere, fans can come to Doko Koko to experience the magic of the anime. The cafe is now decorated with orange walls that are as bright as the protagonist, Hinata Shoyo’s hair, overlaid with volleyball designs and spiker-setter duos from the anime like Kageyama and Hinata from Karasuno, Kuroo and Kenma from Nekoma, Oikawa and Iwaizumi from Aoba Johsai, and more! There is also a height meter where visitors can attempt to jump and see how high they can reach, much like how various characters in the anime measured their own peak jump heights.

They also have a diverse set of meals, pastries, and beverages that are all based on characters from the anime. Visitors can come and try the Kuro Kenma Unagi Don, Tsukishima Yamaguschi Cheese Dome, and Haikyuu!! Mousse Cheesecake, to name a few. They also provide a free random coaster that’s purchasable with any food or beverage from the cafe. Visitors can also purchase official merchandise like the Ita bag, Karasuno oversized jerseys, notepads, card stickers, and more from the cafe. Overlooking it all is a mural featuring all players from the Karasuno volleyball team.
