“The Apothecary Diaries” Embarks on Its First International Exhibition!

Spread the love

Visit the Imperial Palace in real life! Toho Animation announced that beloved anime The Apothecary Diaries is having an Asian exhibit tour starting on November 22 in Hong Kong, including Mainland China, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, and more.

The Apothecary Diaries is based on Natsu Hyuuga’s light novel of the same name, loosely set in the Tang Dynasty of China. The story follows Maomao’s journey from being an apothecary’s daughter to a figure that the Imperial Palace relies on to solve mind-boggling medical mysteries. The anime was first released in 2023 and recently finished its 2nd season, with a film and a season 3 on the way.

No details have been released yet for the dates, venues, and fees for the upcoming exhibits in Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur, but fans are set to see recreations of various scenes from the anime, an extensive exhibition tour, video presentations, original sketches, and exclusive anime merch, all dedicated to the show.

The Apothecary Diaries is set to arrive in Southeast Asia this 2026.
