The LEGO Group has announced exciting things for 2026. While we’re still recovering from their LEGO SMART Play announcement, the company has revealed a much-awaited collaboration with one of the biggest franchises in the world—Pokémon!
Builders and collectors alike can now assemble their own creations based on Nintendo’s most popular property. Starting out as a bug catching concept by game developer Satoshi Tajiri, Pokémon eventually evolved into the game and anime giant that took over the world in the late 1990s and early 2000s, and is experiencing a resurgence today in the form of trading card games.
This new collaboration marks LEGO’s first Pokémon sets, and features five of the most popular monsters from the franchise: Pikachu, Charizard, Blastoise, Venusaur and Eevee. Alongside the new collection is a scavenger hunt where collectors look for Pokémon using clues across digital channels and win fantastic LEGO Pokémon prizes!
Make sure to check out LEGO Group’s website for more information and catch your Pokémon sets this February!
