LOOK: The 79th BAFTA Winners are In!

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) returns this 2026 for its 79th edition, recognizing the best in British and international film and television.

BAFTA was established in 1947 by major figures in British film, with the first awarding ceremony occurring in 1949, and being held annually ever since. For 2026, One Battle After Another won the most awards for film with six, followed by I Swear, Sinners and Frankenstein with three each, and Hamnet with two.
