Step into the world of Raoah and uncover the mysteries of lost civilizations in Fallen Tear: The Ascension!
CMD Studios, a game developer located in the Philippines, has finally released their in-house created game, Fallen Tear: The Ascension. The developer has been operating since 2015 and has been collaborating with international clients like Oracle, The Swarm, Smithsonian, and more, providing digital illustrations, game concepts, and 2D design/spine for various projects.
Fallen Tear: The Ascension first made waves in 2025 after winning multiple awards, including Gamerheads’ Podcast Best of PAX West 2025, Kurosh’s Pick of PAX West 2025, and CrossPlay Conversations’ Game of the Show. The game is a Japanese Role Playing Game (JRPG), a subgenre of RPG that focuses on linear type battles paired with engaging narratives and a fixed protagonist. Players get to play as Hira, as they uncover lost civilizations and memories, while creating fated bonds in a breathtaking, hand-crafted 2D adventure.
Fallen Tear: The Ascension started as a Kickstarter project in 2024 and with the help of fans, they were able to create a fully voiced and immersive, and animated game.
The early access is currently available on Steam and it’s on sale so go check it out.
