Engene, meet Enchin!
Enhypen’s cuddly and cute friends are here! The South Korean boy group has unveiled its official characters—Enchin—coming from a combination of the group’s fandom name, Engene, and the South Korean word for friend, chingu.
Best known for their vampire aesthetic and unique musical blend of pop, rock, and EDM, Enhypen’s six members each created their own character to bring their fans comfort and luck: the cheese cat WONCHU by Jongwon, black cat NoxStar by Jay, dog with a hat JAKEY by Jake, white dog SnoWe by Sunghoon, the pink and white fox KISHU by Sunoo, and puma-duck hybrid PU-NI by NI-KI.

To celebrate the announcement, Enchin will have 10 pop-ups around the world, with Southeast Asian stops in Malaysia and the Philippines this June. Fans can expect huggable cushions, photocard holders, exclusive lightstick covers, pouches, and more merchandise! There are also photo backgrounds that fans can pose in front of to commemorate the milestone.
