Global award-winning communications group COMCO Mundo League of Enterprises, through its Citizen COMCO advocacy program, and Make-A-Wish Foundation have finally concluded Wish to Ignite—a special season of the Write to Ignite initiative, dedicated to sharing the inspiring journeys of children with critical illnesses.

Write to Ignite is a project created by COMCO Mundo to collate powerful stories from writing communities around the country, aiming to inspire the nation with the power of meaningful storytelling. Following the success of its first three seasons, Write to Ignite remains committed to empowering storytellers by challenging them to write stories that inspire hope and resilience. The special fourth season continues the trend of highlighting the inspiring journeys of survivors and everyday heroes, but this time by chronicling the lives of wish kids—children who fought against critical illnesses and who have had their wishes granted by Make-A-Wish—the largest non-profit wish-granting organization in the world.

More than simply recounting personal experiences, Wish to Ignite aimed to showcase the lasting impact of meaningful stories, and the power of wishes to change the lives of children and their families, filling them with hope, resilience, courage, and love.

COMCO Mundo acknowledged the participating WishStorytellers during its recent Catch-Up with COMCOmigos virtual event—an online gathering of country-wide media and blogger friends, and a celebration of community and a decade of shared stories as COMCO continues its 10th anniversary celebration.

A total of 25 WishStorytellers took part in the Wish to Ignite initiative—10 of whom were unable to meet with their wish kids due to challenging circumstances but still lent their support, while 15 WishStorytellers were able to use their platforms to amplify our message of hope and were recognized during the virtual event:

As COMCO Mundo continues its commitment to meaningful storytelling through Write to Ignite, the success of Wish to Ignite demonstrates how powerful stories can move communities, inspire kindness, and encourage more people to become part of making wishes possible.
