Step into the wonderful world of Studio Ghibli in the Lion City!

The Story of Studio Ghibli exhibition is making its world premiere in Singapore this December. Best known for their cozy films featuring complex narratives that resonate to all ages, Studio Ghibli is behind animated classics like My Neighbor Totoro, Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, and more.

Visitors can expect to explore 12 life-sized zones in the exhibition based on iconic titles from the Japanese animation studio. The exhibit is said to be the biggest of its kind spanning about 3,500 square meters, befitting the 40 years of captivating storytelling.

“The Story of Studio Ghibli is not simply an exhibition to be viewed. It is an experience to be felt. Through 12 recreated immersive scenes inspired by iconic Studio Ghibli films, visitors will be invited to step into stories themselves and connect with the emotions, values, and imagination that continue to resonate across cultures and generations,” MExperience’s CEO, Sean Lim, said in an interview with Lifestyle Asia.
