Sony finally revealed the latest generation of its gaming console, the PlayStation 5!
In the recent launch event called “The Future of Gaming”, Sony showcased the sleek and beautiful design of PlayStation 5 together with its accessories and new games.
Sony also revealed that the PlayStation 5 is coming in two versions, the PlayStation 5 with the classic 4K Blu-Ray disc drive and the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition – a slimmer, all-digital console without a disc drive. Both versions are powered by powerful CPU (AMD Zen 2-based CPU with 8 cores at 3.5GHz), GPU (10.28 TFLOPs, 36 CUs at 2.23GHz), and a custom SSD.
The PS5 is also partnered with the recently unveiled DualSense Wireless Controller, a new gamepad that will give further immersive gaming experience to the players with its haptic feedback and dynamic adaptive triggers.
To add to the hype, Sony also unveiled new exclusive game titles equipped with the latest graphic technologies of PS5 such as Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, a standalone spin-off game of Marvel’s Spider-Man, Horizon Forbidden West, the sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn, Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, Gran Turismo 7 and other popular games such as the new and expanded edition of GTA V, NBA 2K21, and Resident Evil 8: Village.
