Blackpink has announced that they would be collaborating with YouTube Music to deliver their first-ever livestream concert entitled The Show.

The first-of-its-kind livestream concert was initially scheduled to air on December 31 but due to South Korea’s COVID-19 restrictions, they have been forced to move it to January 31 at midnight ET via their official YouTube channel.

Tickets for The Show can now be purchased here, on Blackpink’s YouTube channel. The streamer offers two purchase options, standard ($29.99) which provides access to the livestream and a rebroadcast as well as custom emojis and plus ($39.99), which includes all of the above in addition to behind the scenes content.

“We wanted to end the year with something very special for our Blinks who have been waiting so patiently for us,” said Blackpink, in a statement regarding The Show. “We hope everyone can comfortably enjoy our first-ever livestream concert THE SHOW at home and hopefully join in on some special perks we’ve prepared for those who join our channel. Overall we’re super excited to share this fun moment with our blinks and we can’t wait till THE SHOW.”

In October, Blackpink dropped The Album. The record-setting release debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 albums chart, which marked the highest-charting female Korean album ever and the highest-charting album by any all-female group since 2008. Blackpink is officially the second most-subscribed artist on YouTube with nearly 54 million subscribers, have videos with over 1 billion views, and four music videos listed in YouTube’s top ten all-time.

“‘The Show’ is going to be epic… a wow moment,” said Lyor Cohen, global head of music at YouTube. “Blackpink are one of the biggest and best artists in the world and we’re so honored to be partnering with such great talent and the YG team for this first-ever, can’t miss livestream experience. What a great way to end the year and celebrate Blackpink and their YouTube fans around the world!”
