Sex and the City is rom-com television show that aired on HBO in the late 1990s to the early 2000s and inspired two movies. The original series followed four friends, Carrie Bradshaw, Charlotte York, Samantha Jones, and Miranda Hobbes who are all in their mid-30s and 40s as they explore, well, sex and the city, from relationships to careers.

Sadly, one of the members of the original cast, Kim Cattrall who plays Samantha Jones, won’t be returning to the show so we’ll all be finding out together what will happen to her character in the reboot.

The new series will have 10 half-hour episodes and will follow the three friends, who are now in their 50s, and how they are dealing with life and love. Production will start in late Spring 2021 in New York City but we will have to wait a little longer for the release date.

The award-winning show has been included in several lists of best television shows of all time, including Time magazine. The show is based on the 1997 book of the same name written by Candace Bushnell.

The Sex and the City reboot will be streamed on HBO Max, which also recently revived popular shows like “Gossip Girl”.
