BTS is Smart’s Newest Ambassadors

Smart announced that the Grammy-nominated South Korean group BTS is now their newest ambassador.

In a new video uploaded in Smart Communications, Inc.’s social media accounts, the band’s members RM, SUGA, Jin, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook surprised their fans with the news that they are finally a part of the Philippine telco brand’s family.

“We are here to support SMART’s goal of inspiring people to live their lives with passion and purpose no matter the challenges that lie ahead. And with that, we’re proud to announce “Simple, SMART ako,”” RM revealed in the video.

Earlier today, Smart Chief Executive Officer Manny V. Pangilinan teased the announcement, calling it as their “partnership of the year.”

BTS joins Smart’s strong list of high-profile South Korean ambassadors including Crash Landing on You stars Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin, and Itaewon Class’ Park Seo Joon.
