The Falcon and The Winter Soldier finally premiered on Disney+ and garnered a record-breaking number of streaming views on its premiere weekend, overtaking WandaVision and The Mandalorian, the three series all gaining the most views during their weekend premieres as revealed by Disney+.

Watch the official trailer below.

It follows Sam Wilson/Falcon (Anthony Macky) and Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) after the events of Avengers: Endgame as the duo team up for a globetrotting adventure. The series premiered on March 19, 2021 and is directed by Kari Skogland with Malcolm Spellman as the head writer.

Although Disney+ confirmed the high viewership of the show without revealing actual figures, SambaTV, a viewership data collector, records that there were 1.7 million households that streamed the series during its premiere week. WandaVision, on the other hand, had 1.6 million views on its opening weekend, as reported by Deadline.

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier is on Disney+. If you’ve already finished watching it, then mark your calendars on June 11 for the release of Loki and keep close tabs for when Hawkeye and Ms. Marvel get released later within the year.
