LucasFilm and Disney+ are in full swing for the much-awaited Obi-Wan Kenobi, an Original series on the Disney-owned streaming platform.
Ewan McGregor will return as the iconic Jedi, a decade after his last outing in Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith.
The show will begin shooting in April, and was revealed to be about Kenobi facing his greatest defeat from Anakin Skywalker, who was infamous turned to evil Sith Lord Darth Vader.
The series will be directed by Deborah Chow, who have previously helmed several episodes of The Mandalorian. Apart from McGregor, the cast include Hayden Christensen as Darth Vader, Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell, and Benny Safdie.
Obi-Wan Kenobi is executive produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Michelle Rejwan, Deborah Chow, Ewan McGregor, and writer Joby Harold.
Obi-Wan Kenobi will be available exclusively on Disney+.
